We carefully research the markets for each object to arrive at specific values depending on the appraisal's intended use, such as retail replacement cost for insurance purposes or fair market value for donations and estate purposes.  

All appraisals are compliant with the Uniform Standard of Professional Appraisal Practice (USPAP) which is authorized by the US Congress as the source of Appraisal Standards and Appraiser Qualifications.

 

Straus Art Group is an IRS Qualified Appraiser and issues IRS qualified Appraisals for Federal Tax purposes.

Public Art Appraisal
